Riverdale’s current series is coming to an end on The CW tonight (Wednesday, May 15), meaning that fans are waiting for the Netflix release date of season four. The CW has confirmed there will be another series of Riverdale, which will be released on Netflix shortly after it starts on US TV. Riverdale season four does not have a confirmed release date yet, but is expected in autumn 2019.

Riverdale was renewed for another series along with nine other CW series, including Supernatural, Legacies and The Flash.
CW president Mark Pedowitz said in a statement: “The early renewal of these signature CW series gives us a head start on laying out the 2019-2020 season, and this is just the beginning.
“These shows provide a strong foundation for our multiplatform programming strategy, and we look forward to building on this with even more returning and new shows as we approach the May upfront.”
