Carol Kirkwood, 56, took to Twitter and shared a short video clip of a swan gliding across the pond where she admitted the scenery was “tranquil". In view of her 154,000 followers, she gushed: “Hard to believe we are in the middle of London with such a tranquil scene @BBCBreakfast @theroyalparks.” She later tweeted a second video of a duckling paddling along the water before disappearing underneath. Carol captioned the post: “Now you see him now you don’t!!! @BBCBreakfast @theroyalparks.”
Fans rushed to comment on the post, as one person said: “It looks like heaven,” while another person commented: “Lovely pics from you today, thank you.”
While a third person added: “Relax Recharge Refresh Carol.”
The BBC star regularly updates viewers on the weather in various scenic locations.
It comes after the BBC favourite left her social media fans in a frenzy after she shared an hilarious snap on Twitter whereby her co-stars had to “run for cover” earlier this week.
Carol uploaded a photo of one of her colleagues hiding behind a wall with his arms covering his face while a camera man also attempted to run away from the BBC Breakfast star.
