The silk design also had an open boat neckline and a train with built-in triple silk underskirt. When marrying into the family, Meghan made sure the design showed her dedication to her new royal role. Meghan paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, 93, by having flowers embroidered onto her veil. The design on the veil represented the Commonwealth, and mirrored the Commonwealth flowers the Queen had stitched onto the dress she wore to her coronation.
