Elon Musk: Fans disappointed as SpaceX delays Space Internet launch again (Image: GETTY)
The Space Internet’s launch was delayed due to “excessive high winds” on Wednesday night. But SpaceX’s Falcon 9 was called off again tonight as the company “updates satellite software”. Starlink will launch next week but a precise date is to be decided.
SpaceX wrote on Twitter confirming the delay: “Standing down to update satellite software and triple-check everything again.
“Always want to do everything we can on the ground to maximise mission success, next launch opportunity in about a week.”
Social media users were quick to voice their disappointment over the delay.
But they agreed it’s “better safe than sorry”.
