Dancing On Ice 2018 professional Matt Evers, 43, said he “isn’t a spring chicken anymore” when quizzed about his future on the show. The ice skating star has been a part of the professional line-up since the show’s inception in 2006. When asked if he had considered leaving, he replied: “Yeah, every single year when that contract comes in, it’s something you have to consider.” Matt added: “You know, I’m not a spring chicken anymore and my body can only do this for so long.”

Despite his fears, he said he is hoping to return to the show next year, but is yet to sign on the dotted line.

A Dancing On Ice representative told Express.co.uk the show “don’t tend to confirm the pros until much later in the year”.

Elsewhere, should Matt sign up for the show again, he is keen to dance with Game Of Thrones beauty Emilia Clarke, 32.

“I am so infatuated with her,” he divulged. “I’m the biggest Game Of Thrones fan, so I could teach her how to skate absolutely.”

Acknowledging the imminent end of the HBO series, he added: “Surely she’s looking for work?”
