However 19-year-old Emily Hewertson, from Northampton, said she also received abuse following her appearance. On Question Time Nigel Farage beamed after Ms Hewertson commented: “At this point in time the only things that should be left in Europe should be Liverpool and Tottenham.” The Brexit backer explained how, despite being a Conservative Party member, she will vote for the Brexit Party in the upcoming European Parliament elections.
Speaking to Express.co.uk about the response to her appearance Ms Hewertson said: “I mean I’m quite flattered!

“Unfortunately I’m a busy woman so I don’t have time to attend all of these dates.”
The UK takes part in European Parliament elections next Thursday.
Polling suggests the Brexit Party is likely to win, with the Conservatives pushed into fourth or fifth place.

Ms Hewertson added: “I think a lot of people were surprised, stereotypically a lot of people who support Brexit are older, there tends to be the stereotype of them all being 50 plus.
