Tonight 26 countries will take to the stage to compete in the 64th Eurovision Song Contest. The winner will take the title and host the contest next year, and already there are firm favourites in the competition. Currently, the Netherlands is odds on to win at 8/11, whilst the UK has a staggering 150/1 chance of claiming victory.

The show will air live from Tel Aviv, Israel on BBC One from 8pm.

Israel won the show last year with their artist Netta and her song Toy.

As well as the 26 competing countries, Madonna will be performing her iconic hit Like A Prayer and new song Future according to an official Eurovision announcement.

Israeli Eurovision host Assi Azar told Graham Norton on his Radio 2 show this morning: “I saw the rehearsal yesterday, It’s an amazing show, what she’s doing on the stage.
