Lady Gabriella Windsor is set to get married to in her own royal wedding today, as she follows in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's footsteps at St George’s Chapel, Windsor. Her mother is Princess Michael of Kent, who is sure to be a proud mother-of-the-bride as she prepares to watch her daughter walk down the aisle. However, she is more well-known by the nickname “Princess Pushy”, which was bestowed on her by an unamused Princess Anne, a royal expert claims.
Channel 5 documentary “The Royal Family at War” which aired in April, looked at the relationship between the royal women.
The Queen’s former press secretary Dickie Arbiter said: “She is very assertive, so Princess Anne nicknamed her Princess Pushy.”
Royal author Katie Nicholl added that the nickname has stuck.
She said: “If you ask people who Princess Michael of Kent is , they might not always know.
