Karen (played by Lorraine Stanley) was disturbed by the possibility after Dinah (Anjela Lauren Smith) asked her to be there as she ended her own life on EastEnders.
But Karen refused and instead tried to help Dinah focus on what she had to live for, although it had little affect and Dinah died last week on the programme.
In the wake of Dinah’s passing on the BBC soap, the family will rally round to support Bailer Baker (Kara-Leah Fernandes) but Karen’s got something on her mind.
She opens up to her eldest daughter Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) and tells her she’s worried she might go to prison for the part played in Dinah’s death.
But could Karen end up behind bars?
There was further upset for her last week after she told Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) what Dinah had asked of her before she died and he told Karen she was now dead to him for withholding the information.
Karen revealed what had happened as Mitch started to blame himself.
He said: “I think she might have done this because of me,” as a concerned Karen asked: “Where has this come from?”
