#GameofThrones - Tyrion Lannister's REAL fate revealed in Varys twist #GoT ...

Warning: This story contains major spoilers for Game of Thrones season eight, episode six, The Iron Throne.

Tyrion Lannister (played by Peter Dinklage) went through the motions in the finale of Game of Thrones.

The last remaining Lannister was imprisoned by Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) following on from his decision to release his brother Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster Waldau).

However, he was freed by the new king Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) who also branded him the Hand of the King.

At the end of the episode, peace fell upon Westeros finally, as the merry band of men tried to figure out how on Earth they would rule.

Samwell Tarly (John Bradley), who is now a Maester, decided to write an historical account of the events in Game of Thrones, and named the epic book A Song of Ice and Fire.

Tyrion was tasked with editing the beast and he was keen to learn what was said about him.

However, Samwell had to deliver the crushing blow that he wasn’t mentioned, despite being one of the key figures in modern Westerosi history.

Furthermore, it was Tyrion who declared Bran should be king, labelling him Bran the Broken.

Despite not having a role in the book, it seems that plot point was actually foretold by Varys (Conleth Hill) in episode four when he started to conspire against Daenerys.
