The First Lady reportedly showed “obvious signs of unhappiness” when US President Donald Trump reached out to hold her hand. Melania Trump’s expression is a “key indicator of what might actually be going on”, according to body language expert, Patti Wood. Ms Wood drew analysis from different pictures of the couple in the past three years.
A picture of Melania touching the arm of Trump during his campaign trail in 2016 showed “genuine enjoyment from both of them”.
Ms Wood told Business Insider: “He’s laughing very spontaneously.
“It’s a very real laugh that goes all the way up through his body and lifts up his shoulders, lifts up his body, lifts up his cheeks, and he’s squinting. He’s in on it. He’s not offended.
“It seems like they’re happy and laughing together even though she’s just made fun of him.
