What’s more, the map may tease some spoilers for season three and battles to come.

In the New Gilead colony, there is a purple patch on the map near Massachusetts indicating the area is rebel-occupied.

This could indicate June Osborne (played by Elisabeth Moss) has successfully taken the area with rebels.

She is set to play an important role in the season, with the action spiking up ten minutes after the season two finale.

The season three trailer certainly teased her increased role as she takes the role of voiceover in the trailer.

As the teaser comes to a close, June’s voiceover is heard saying: “Wake up America, morning’s over,” in a sinister tone.
