Coronation Street viewers watched as Wayne Hayes (played by Adam Barlow) continued to harass Roy Cropper (David Neilson) in tonight’t episode.
In his attempts to get to the bottom of the factory roof collapse, Roy has become increasingly annoyed with his interest in Carla Connor (Alison King).
But could Roy’s irritation be linked to a secret he’s hiding in connection with his recent trip to Portsmouth?
Wayne is beginning to suspect something and in tonight’s edition of the ITV soap Roy avoided his questions once again.
Roy told Wayne that he felt like he was being used for information on his friend Carla now she has returned to the cobbles.
Wayne denied this but remarked: “Look if you’re upset that I’m asking questions about Carla then you better get used to it because as soon as she’s well enough people are going to be queuing up to ask her more questions.”
Roy replied: “Yes well she’s not well enough, not for the moment.”
