DIY SOS host Nick Knowles, 56, said he avoids catching a glimpse of himself on the television and only watches himself back to see if he’s slipped into any bad habits.Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, he said: “I occasionally watch DIY SOS to see if I’ve got into any bad habits but apart from that I’m not really one who likes to watch myself on TV.” The presenter has been fronting the property renovation show since 1999. When quizzed if he has ever thought about leaving the show, Nick admitted he is hoping to stay on the show for as long as possible.

He added: “It does too much to change lives…The hundreds of people who turn up make a massive difference to the community.
“So no, I will be on it for as long as long as they make it.”
He added: “DIY SOS is doing better than ever. I’m really happy with it.”
