It’s been eight long years since A Dance With Dragons was published by Martin. In fact, it’s so long ago that it was the same year that Game of Thrones’ first season debuted on HBO. And despite the 70-year-old’s hopes of finishing both The Winds of Winter and the final novel A Dream of Spring, Game of Thrones’ narrative overtook Martin’s books. The author has also confirmed that the main plot points of the TV show are his plans for the final two books.
But the wait has been too long for some fans and now there’s a website by Ralph you can visit to find out just how many long days it’s been since A Dance with Dragons was released.
