In tense and dramatic Coronation Street scenes next week, the Platts will head off on a family holiday that grandma Audrey Roberts (played by Sue Nicholls) organised months ago. Little do they know that it could be the final time they are all together as Sarah and the rest of family are rocked by a huge revelation. David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is set to reveal to Audrey that brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) stole her £80k and led her to blame dead boyfriend Lewis Archer (Nigel Havers) for the theft. Then, pressed on the what it will mean for the family and what scenes like this mean to her: "Anything that involves me being on set with a bunch of Platts, I'm in heaven. “I love being with the guys. We all have quite different personalities but we all gel so well. It feels really good to be a part of. “There's going to be more to come as we see the fallout from this and we see the ways that the Platts try to make this work as a family." Asked if she thinks it could split the family, she admitted: "Yes, I do. Audrey is heartbroken. What they have done to her is unforgivable and so painful. Sarah feels very betrayed by them as well." The scenes are set to explode when David’s admirer Natalie Watkins (Cassie Bradley) turns up unannounced to the family holiday. (Image: ITV) The pair shared a kiss in one of Wednesday’s episodes, although David did push her away and declared his loyalty to fiancée Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding). In next week’s scenes, David tells Natalie to go after she is seen by Shona and as she turns to head off David’s mum Gail Platt (Helen Worth) spots Natalie’s tattoo on the back of her neck. Recognising the tattoo from CCTV footage of a mystery woman withdrawing Audrey’s money, Gail comes to the conclusion Natalie was the mystery woman who stole the cash. David panics that Gail will tell the police and Natalie will spill all that it was Nick who devised the plan to take the money and goes straight to Audrey to reveal all. Sarah knows only too well what Rick is capable of after his past dealings with the Platt family. Fans will remember he drove Gail’s husband Joe McIntyre (Reece Dinsdale) to extreme lengths to pay off his debt and ultimately resulted in him dying when trying to fake his own death. Sarah’s ex Gary Windass (Mikey North) could get the brunt of Rick’s anger and plunge him back into debt trouble with the loan shark. Or even worse, it could result in Gary fighting for his life.
