THE 1,000 staff set to lose their jobs following the collapse of Jamie Oliver's restaurant empire were yesterday promised job interviews with a rival chain.

Bosses at Frankie & Benny's announced they would talk to workers facing the axe after Mr Oliver's restaurant group went into administration this week. Bridget Hutchinson of Frankie & Benny's said: "It was very shocking to hear the news about Jamie's Italian earlier this week. "Discussing it with the team we wanted to do something to help the thousands of employees who were let go.
