Keanu Taylor (played by Danny Walters) and Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) have managed to keep their affair under wraps so far but the actress who plays Keanu’s mum, Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) has hinted at explosive scenes when the truth finally comes out.
Sharon and Keanu were embroiled in a secret romance last year and a recent turn of events involving Keanu’s girlfriend Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) has caused sparks between the couple once again.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Lorraine hinted at a dramatic climax to the former lovers’ storyline when Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) uncovers the affair.
When asked whether she would like to be involved in the explosive scenes, she confessed: “Oh, yeah, if and when it happens, yeah.”
“It’s obviously got to come out, hasn’t it? But yeah, there would be some brilliant scenes there.
“It’s always a pleasure working with Steve McFadden, so that would be explosive. It [would] be a bombshell explosion.”
Karen has known about the affair for some time after discovering the truth and warning Sharon that her son better not get hurt.
The worried mum feared for the safety of Keanu because of Phil’s violent reputation and told Sharon to make sure things were over between the pair.
