Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan, 53, jokingly claimed he was “disappointed” when learning he had only been mentioned twice in Charlotte Hawkins’ newspaper column. In view of his 6.65 million followers, he shared Charlotte’s tweet which read: “My column out today! Thanks to @thesundaypeople for the opportunity while @RachaelBletchly was away. “My take on all sorts of things from what went wrong with Jamie Oliver’s restaurants, to sexist air conditioning, and the parents getting Alexa to read bedtime stories.” Piers shared the tweet with the caption: “Excellent read but a bit disappointed I only got two mentions.”

Within Charlotte’s column, the presenter mentioned Piers when discussing a report regarding sexist air conditioning.

Part of the segment read: “I often get goosebumps in the Good Morning Britain studio so I’m calling for thermal equality - let’s set the air con where it keeps us ALL happy.

“Even when my colleague Piers Morgan is having a heated debate.”

After sharing Charlotte’s post, many of Piers’ followers flocked to his page to comment.
