The Grand Tour is all about the big and the bold supercars with hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond speeding around race tracks in the world’s most fantastical vehicles. However, it seems Jeremy is about to take a detour none of his fans would have seen coming. The presenter is set to front a new show on Amazon Prime which tackles farming. Jeremy, 59, announced the programme this weekend and set about differentiating I Bought A Farm from the likes of Countryfile. Jeremy explained: “This is not Kate Humble - much as I like Kate Humble - with 20 acres, bottle-feeding a lamb. “Or a TV presenter who grows veg in his back garden. This is actual farming. We’ll be showing it warts and all. “For example, I have no view on badger culling in terms of whether it’s necessary, but if it’s happening, we will not shy away from putting it in the programme.” The presenter went on to explain how the show will focus on food-supply shortages and explained how humans have “just 90 years before we run out of food”.
