Love Island 2019 starts next Monday (June 3), with the first 12 contestants entering the villa for the latest run of the ITV2 series. The Love Island 2019 contestants include Strictly pro AJ Pritchard’s brother Curtis and fighter Tyson Fury’s sibling Tommy. Caroline Flack is also back to welcome the Love Island contestants to the villa.
Who are the girls of Love Island 2019?
Yewande Biala
Yewande Biala is a 23-year-old scientist who lives in Dublin, Ireland who wants to follow in the footsteps of fellow “intelligent” Love Islanders like Camilla Thurlow and Dr Alex George.
She says that the kind of man she is looking for in the Love Island villa is: “Someone that has good banter and someone that is easy to get along with and honest.”
Lucie Donlan
Lucie Donlan, 23, is a surfer from Newquay who describes herself as: “different to the usual girls that might go on the show,” because she’s, “more into sports as well as being glam.”
Lucie, who recently dated ex-Love Island contestant Charlie Frederick, is looking for a sporty guy with: “The typical surfer look - blonde, long hair.”

Amber Gill
Beauty therapist Amber Gill, 21, is from Newcastle and says of herself: “I don’t take
myself too seriously and I’m always up for a laugh.”
The contestant, who is friends with former Love Islanders Adam Collard and Ellie Brown, says she is looking for: “Someone who is funny and that I can have fun with and doesn’t take themselves too seriously because I am daft.”
Amy Hart
Worthing native Amy Hart, 26, is a cabin crew manager who has calls herself: “The Bridget Jones of my friendship group.”
On Love Island, she says she is: “Looking for someone to travel the world with, have fun with and someone who is going to love me as much as I love them.
