This week on Coronation Street, viewers will see Carla Connor (played by Alison King) struggle with her mental health following the collapse of the Underworld factory roof.
She will hallucinate and climb to the top of the factory but it seems she will be talked back down.
Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) will go to desperate measures to ensure Carla gets the help she needs and the pair will leave the cobbles.
Following Carla’s ordeal, it will be revealed the best option for her is to leave Weatherfield to recover.
When Peter goes to visit a fragile Carla, the doctor explains they have found a place for her at a special unit.
However, Carla will only be able to receive help if she agrees to move to Carlisle.
Not wanting her to go alone, Peter will also make the move up north to ensure he can care for the woman he loves.
Ken Barlow (William Roache), Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) will gather to see Peter off on his trip.
