Most of the UK can expect warm sunshine with others experiencing scorching temperatures. Saturday morning will see a much drier and brighter start to the day with a few showers for northern and western areas. Eastern and southern Scotland could see some sunshine with Northern Ireland seeing some areas of cloud.
Northwest and north Wales will see some damp weather first thing in the morning but it will be mainly dry and warm following a muggy night.
Met Office Meteorologist Adam McGivern said: “Hot sunshine will be focussed into Saturday afternoon with high UV levels.
“There will be areas of cloud thickening up all the while bringing a few showers and a few light spells of rain and temperatures closer to average for Scotland, Northern Ireland, north Wales and northern England.
“But central and southern areas will see mid-teens and mid-20s while east England will experience 28°C to
