During an interview in The Sunday Times, the US President claimed it was not too late for Britain to “sue” the EU and give the UK more “ammunition” in future Brexit talks. Trump, who announced his second term campaign this week, also said he wants to secure a free trade deal between the UK and the US. The President promised the free trade deal would take place within months of Brexit to make up for lost trade with the EU.
