#outlander Producer reveals the Jamie and Claire Fraser scene that was CUT ...

The Outlander series is taken from the series of books and the story is adapted to make the popular Starz show fans know and love.

Following the story written by Diane Gabaldon, the TV show explores the lives of Jamie (played by Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe).

She is set to release her ninth book of the franchise soon with a view to a season six of the show.

However, show producer Toni Graphia has revealed there is one scene, although small, from the books that she wishes she could have played out on the show.

Speaking to Digital Spy, she admits: "There's a conversation, I think, from maybe even in book 1 where Jamie is looking at the trees at Lallybroch, and he has this beautiful speech where he tells Claire, 'I know this land so well.’

“‘I know these trees. And I know when it's going to rain, because the leaves turn a lighter shade of green, because the leaves turn upward, and you see the underside of the leaves.'

"It's just this beautiful speech about how much he loves his land, and how well he knows the trees and the land.

"And it stuck in my mind so much that I put it in about four scripts to try to get it in. And then sometimes those smaller moments are the ones that get cut if the episode's running long. And then I try to put it in somewhere else."

Fans would no doubt have loved to have seen that scene played out as they cannot get enough of the Claire and Jamie dynamic.
