Over a decade on since the last Indiana Jones movie and Steven Spielberg and Ford are back for a fifth outing. However, the release date was recently pushed back a year by Disney to July 9, 2021. Nevertheless, Ford has now revealed that Indiana Jones 5 is due to start shooting as early as next week. Speaking with Variety, the 76-year-old said: “[It] should be starting to shoot sometime next week.”

He added: “I’m looking forward to it. Things are coming along well.”
But Spielberg is also working on his West Side Story remake, and filming is due to begin next week in New York City.
Perhaps Ford was mistaken, or the director has switched his schedule around for the 2020 movie.
