The decision by Tommy leaves Joe fearing for his future in the Love Island villa after leaving him without a girl.
In the tense scenes on the ITV show, Tommy and Curtis Pritchard were told they had to pick a girl they had connected with the couple up with.
The pair had been getting to know the girls earlier in the episode and Tommy had set his sites on Lucie and Amber Gill.
Then, at the end of the episode he chose to split Joe and Lucie up so he could have Lucie all to himself and fans were left heartbroken by the decision.
