Anne Hegerty, 60, took to the micro-blogging site to respond to a Twitter user who admitted they were pleased to welcome Donald , 72, who they dubbed as an “important ally” for the UK. The Chase star took the opportunity to reply to the post and admitted she “loved Americans” but claimed the President “has the shakiest concept of decency”. The person in question initially retweeted a message from another user ,which stated: “God this visit. So humiliating. It’s elevated him and reduced us in many ways. Insofar as I do care, I am pleased to see the warmest welcome given to the President of the USA whoever holds that office, especially on the 75th anniversary of D-Day. America is an important ally. This is silly histrionics.”
