Joe Garratt slammed by viewers over reaction to Lucie’s date with Tommy on ...

Tommy Fury and Lucie Donlan went on a double date with Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart on tonight’s Love Island but their outing left Lucie’s previous partner Joe Garratt devastated.

After Tommy and Curtis were forced to couple up with two of the girl islanders, the new couples were sent out of the villa to get to know each other, leaving behind newly-single Joe.

“I knew it was coming it’s so annoying because I knew it was coming and I feel like I got snaked out big time,” Joe remarked alone in the beach hut.

Later on in the show, Joe pulled Lucie aside to try to find out how she was feeling but despite her assurances she had stronger feelings for Joe than Tommy, he remarked that he didn’t know if he “trusted her” anymore.

Joe continued to explain that he had strong feelings for Lucie but fans were quick to point out that it was very early on in the show.

Commenting on his behaviour, one tweeted: “No girl wants to be with a guy who’s manipulating don’t be a Joe #loveisland.”

“Joe it’s been 2 days u can’t cling onto one girl like both u and her need to explore more u can’t be in love straight away #LoveIsland,” added a second.

“Joe is a big needy man child, how Lucie can pick him over Tommy FURY is beyond me #LoveIsland,” a third wrote.

“Can someone please tell Joe it’s been 1 day! #loveisland” remarked another.
