Although Black Mirror is known for its dark nature, there was one episode that provided some hope in a world that sucks the hope out of everything else.
Season three episode San Junipero will be remembered for the blossoming romance between Yorkie (Mackenzie Davis) and Kelly (Gugu Mbatha-Raw).
Whereas most episodes of the Netflix series destroy any optimism, this episode gave the pair the opportunity to survive and head off into a potentially beautiful future.
They fell in love in San Junipero and it is a world where people who die carry on living and it is set up to be a twisted place.

Although the pair had a happy ending, co-creator Charlie Brooker has revealed it was originally going to take a more sinister and sick twist.
He told Refinery29: “There’s a couple of things we’ve cut out because it would be tonally a bit off in the episode.
“In San Junipero, I’d started writing a scene where you see Gugu’s character [Kelly] in a kindergarten and then you realise afterwards that these are children who had died and been uploaded to this world.
“See! “In many ways it was a beautiful image, but it was so heart-rending [that] it destabilised everything else. So, sometimes we won’t put something in for that reason but other than that, we’re pretty comfortable…”
