As this year’s contestants enjoy their long hot summer in the Love Island villa former star Eyal Booker has opened up on the scenes viewers don’t get a chance to watch.
Fans of the show will have noticed that this year’s islanders are never filmed smoking after a rule was introduced prior to last year’s series which moved the smoking area out of the villa.
However during seasons one, two and three of the show many of the islanders shared intimate conversations while smoking leading to fears that some of the drama won’t be shown in the final edit.
But in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk Eyal reassures viewers that they won’t be missing out of any of the action.
When asked whether islanders purposely had heated chats while smoking because they knew it couldn’t be shown, Eyal remarked: “No, if you were smoking you had to smoke on your own.
“There were still cameras out there and you were still mic’d up, just because they didn’t show the smoking. If there was still a situation in the smoking area then they would have shown it.”
The ITV dating show has been slammed in the past for failing to produce many long-lasting couples.
Despite Eyal leaving the villa single he admits the show has helped him with his dating life.
