Kush Kazemi and Kat Slater to SPLIT in #EastEnders after shock custody decision?

Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) announced his wish to gain joint custody of his son Arthur on the BBC soap last week and the news hasn’t gone down well with Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Martin Fowler (James Bye). 

Stacey and Martin have managed Kush’s access to Arthur pretty smoothly up until now but relations have recently become strained between the two market traders. 

But if Kush does push for a custody agreement could his relationship with Stacey’s cousin Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) suffer? 

Arthur’s father wanted nothing to do with him at first and Linda Lamb, solicitor and director at LSL Family Law predicted this may cause some complications for Kush in his bid for custody.

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, she remarked: “It is not uncommon for parents who were not planning or wanted to have a child to keep their distance at the beginning. 

“Once the child is here and a real little person, this often changes. If Kush is now committed, it is Arthur’s right to have a good relationship with both his parents.” 

Character witnesses are often called-upon in cases like this and Linda adds that the best witnesses are “independent professionals who have seen good parenting such as health visitors, midwives and teachers”. 

Can Kush prove his dedication to Arthur or will witnesses demonstrate that Stacey and Martin have played a much bigger part in the three-year-old’s life?
