Viewers of Gentleman Jack watched a heartbreaking confession from Ann Walker’s (Sophie Rundle) to Anne Lister (Suranne Jones) in tonight’s episode, and the reveal could lead to Anne taking the ultimate revenge.
In the latest instalment of the period drama, Anne was distraught as her lover Ann considered marrying Reverend Thomas Ainsworth (Brendan Patricks).
However in emotional scenes it was revealed the Reverend had already “intimately” had Ann without her consent causing her to feel obligated to accept his marriage proposal.
Understandably Anne was furious but could she be planning to murder Thomas out of her love for Ann?
Viewers watching at home took to Twitter to comment on Anne’s possible revenge.
