Caroline Flack - the host of Love Island 2019 - flaunted her trim figure on the show this week after it debuted on Monday. The 36-year-old presenter has revealed that her most recent weight loss was thanks to cutting out one thing in particular from her diet. The regime saw the blonde beauty shed over a stone ahead of Love Island. Flack explained in an interview that her dieting attempt saw her completely stop eating sugar.

The Love Island host revealed that quitting the sweet stuff was what made the “biggest difference” to her physique.
“What made the biggest difference to how I looked and felt was cutting out all sugar,” she told Your Fitness.
Eating sugar can lead to dieters consuming more later on and jeopardising weight loss.
“Sugar provides empty calories and stimulates the effects of your Ghrelin (the hunger hormone), which stimulates appetite, making you more likely to over-eat and to opt for foods which don’t satiate you for a prolonged period of time," Nutritionist Jenna Hope told Cosmopolitan.
