Where are Met Office weather warnings for this week?

Such is the deluge of rain across the country that Met Office Meteorologist Luke Miall has said that a Yellow Warning is in place.

Mr Miall said: “We've got a north, south split through this morning, dry across northern parts but it stays wet in the south.

He added: “We've had a pretty wet night and that rain is continuing and with the rain we've also got some stronger winds.”

Mr Miall explained that across Scotland the winds have strengthened so it will feel quite blustery, with a few showers across northern Scotland generally, but the weather will be dry elsewhere.
