Amazon Prime released Good Omens a few weeks ago and Neil Gaiman fans have been wondering whether a second series will be released. Gaiman, however, has said he is unlikely to return as showrunner if there is another season of Good Omens on Amazon Prime. Good Omens season two could still go ahead, though the chances of this happening may be less now that Gaiman has said he won’t be returning.
When asked by Express.co.uk at the world premiere of Good Omens if there would be another series, Gaiman said he would not be behind it.
He said: “So far, Good Omens has taken me four years, or five years since I promised Terry [Pratchett, co-writer of the Good Omens novel] I’d make it.
“In that five years I haven’t been writing novels,” he continued.
Gaiman’s last book, The Ocean at the End of the Lane, was released in 2013 .

The American Gods and Coraline author also said he wanted to spend more time with his wife, singer-songwriter Amanda Palmer.
He said: “I have a wife who has not seen enough of me for the last few years and is looking forward to me being at home.”
