Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first child, baby Archie, on May 6 and have been relying on the help of the Duchess of Sussex’ mother, Doria Ragland, since the birth. But the grandmother returned home to Los Angeles at the end of May, and the royal couple are believed to have enlisted the help of a nanny. Royal commentator Katie Nicholl says the Sussexes’ childminder has had to sign an “extensive” non-disclosure agreement to protect the family’s privacy.
Ms Nicholl, who has written a series of biographies on the royal family, told Entertainment Online: “I’ve heard from very reliable sources that the new nanny has been appointed by the Sussex’s has had to sign quite an extensive non-disclosure agreement.”
But despite hiring the professional nanny, the royal commentator said Meghan has had a hands on involvement with her son.
She said: “Meghan’s been up in the night nursing, feeding on demand every few hours.
“Apparently he’s a hungry little baby.”
