Mr Reckless, who is the current leader of the Brexit party in the Welsh Assembly, accused the BBC of its pro-Remain bias on last week’s show. The former Ukip MP insisted that the BBC no longer represents the public after having a panel consisting of all remain voters. Challenging, Mr Reckless, however, Mr Bruce insisted that although some of the panels had voted to Remain in the EU, some had also changed their minds and are now backing to leave the union.

Mr Reckless said: “Many people don’t feel the BBC represents them.

“Last week we had five people on this panel, all five of whom voted Remain.”

Quickly, Ms Bruce interjected to defend the BBC’s panel.

Ms Bruce said: “We had people who voted Remain, taking the Government position but also people who had changed their minds and are backing Brexit even though they voted to remain originally.
