Carol Vorderman, 58, often interacts with her fans on Twitter, but certainly couldn’t have seen her most recent message coming. A male user shared a picture of himself using a Snapchat filter which made him look female, saying he thought he looked like the ex-Countdown bombshell. “Wtf? The @Snapchat female filter makes me look like @carolvorders,”(sic) he said, tagging the presenter. Sounding surprised, Carol shared the post with her own 403,000 Twitter followers, adding: “Um….?!?! X #weird.”
Hockey star Sam Quek, 30, who has been friends with the Countdown favourite since they appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! together in 2016, was very skeptical about the likeness, however.
“Omg! That’s uncanny,” she joked. “In the same way Boris Johnson look like Brad Pitt.”
Carol was clearly tickled by the takedown, replying: “LOLOLOL.”
Several of Carol’s fans were also unconvinced, with one writing: “In your dreams.”
“Can’t see it myself,” another tweeted, along with the hashtag: “#ShouldHaveGoneToSpecsavers.”
A third simply said: “You wish.”
