Debbie McGee, 61, was joined on BBC Radio Berkshire with her co-star Julian Perkins, but the host revealed the pair were not next to each other during their broadcast. The Strictly finalist cheekily jibed her colleague as she mused he had “deserted her” after he suggested there had been “complaints”. Speaking on the show, Debbie could not help but tease him further as she hinted she may have been the culprit to their work separation. After Julian wrapped up delivering the latest news, she said: “Thank you very much Julian. Lovely to hear your voice.
“Usually, I’ve got you in my studio but you’ve deserted me this morning.”
He replied: “I’m not allowed to sit next to you anymore.”
To which the Strictly Come Dancing finalist, asked: “Is that what it is?”
Julian hinted at the reason as he said: “There’s been complaints - from you I bet?”
