Meghan Markle has often been compared to Princess Diana due to her commitment to charitable causes and for her fashion style. The Duchess of Sussex however is "very different," from Diana as she joined the Royal Family at a stage in her life when she was "much more mature" than her mother-in-law, according to royal expert Jennie Bond. Speaking to Yahoo's The Royal Box about the similarities between Meghan and the Princess of Wales, Ms Bond said: 'She is being compared to Diana and I’m sorry that’s the case. She is a very different woman.
"Much more mature, much more knowing of her own role, and wishes and causes she wishes to espouse.
"She is much readier for her role than Diana ever was."
Ms Bond also warned Meghan Markle she should avoid "playing any games with the press" and try to distance herself from the celebrity expectations she built up as an actress in the United States.
She continued: "I think I would suggest to Meghan that she tries not to play any games with the press, tries not to be too celebrity.

"And to try to ignore she is getting quite a lot of flack from a lot of directions."
