There has been no sighting of Archie since his birth, apart from an Instagram post on May 12 to celebrate Mother’s Day in the US. However, royal fans will get a glimpse of the royal baby for his baptism next month in Windsor. Although Meghan and Harry are often regarded as the new age royals, according to The Times, the pair will dress Archie in a replica of the traditional Honiton lace christening gown.
Originally commissioned by Queen Victoria for the baptism of her first child, Princess Victoria in 1841, the original gown has been worn by 62 children for their respective baptisms before the Queen deemed it too fragile to be worn again and therefore commissioned the replica.
Although the Queen will miss the event next month, Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland will return for the baptism.
The event is expected to be led by the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke
