Bran Stark (played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright) was not considered a big a player for the Iron Throne as Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) or Jon Snow (Kit Harington).
But the youngest surviving Stark boy may have actually manipulated the events of Game of Thrones to ensure he ended up with full control of Westeros.
At the council which came together after Daenerys’ death in the season eight finale, Bran hinted his destiny was to become King all along.
Over the course of the series, Bran has had visions of the future revealing what could happen in the Seven Kingdoms, which he appears to have used to his advantage.
In season four, episode two, the Three-Eyed Raven saw a dragon flying over King’s Landing and the Iron Throne covered in ash, predicting Daenerys destroying the capital.
Since then, Bran has manipulated a number of situations to ensure the path was clear for him to be King.
He gave his sister Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) the catspaw dagger, which she used to kill the Night King (Vladimir Furdik) at the Battle of Winterfell.
Bran also told Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) to tell Jon about his true parentage. In turn, this led to a wedge being driven between Jon and Daenerys.
Daenerys couldn’t shake the fact that the northerners loved Jon more than her and their divide ultimately led to her death.
