In the last year, cinema-goers have been treated to music biopics Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman. Now The Who’s Daltrey has revealed he’s still trying to get one made about late drummer Keith Moon. The 75-year-old singer has revealed he intends for the film to be the “antithesis of Bohemian Rhapsody” after the Freddie Mercury movie was criticised for going too easy on the wilder aspects of the late star’s private life. According to Metro, Daltrey said: “I will do the Keith Moon film and that will have a low rating to, that will be the antithesis of Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Praising Malek’s Oscar win despite Bohemian Rhapsody’s production problems, he added: “And I haven’t seen Rocketman but I saw Bohemian Rhapsody and I thought Rami Malek deserved what he got.

“He did a great job with a really thin script.”

Earlier this week, Queen guitarist Brian May slammed Bohemian Rhapsody critics who pointed out alleged Freddie Mercury mistakes.

The 71-year-old legend has been visiting Zanzibar, Freddie’s birthplace, including the hospital Farouk Bulsara was born in.
