India holidays often see visitors eager to visit the famous Taj Mahal. The mausoleum is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful buildings ever built. It is said that Shah Jahan built it as a testament to his love for his favourite wife, commissioning it in 1632. The monument is a year-round attraction but new visitor rules are set to restrict tourist access.
