Susan Boyle, 58, recently made a return to the stage and Britain's Got Talent, after she took a break away from the limelight. The BGT finalist took some time out of her busy schedule to showcase her Blackburn home, which had recently undergone a dramatic makeover. Opting for neutral colours, the singing sensation admitted the house needed to be touched up as she was beginning to “lose things”. Speaking to the Edinburgh Evening News, the Scottish native gave them a tour of her living quarters which she described as her “wee retreat”.
She told the publication: “The house has been needing doing up for some time, I was beginning to lose things in it.
“I’ve had the kitchen done, the living room papered, the floors done and a summerhouse put out the back.”
Susan added: “It will be a wee retreat for me, although I haven’t used it yet, with all the rain.
“It makes the place look bigger and more homely.”
Showing off her brand new kitchen, it features grey and white cupboards and a contemporary island, complete with tiled flooring.
The front room contained a simple grey sofa and is accessorised with dark wood flooring and pale yellow paint.
