Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage insisted he would emphasise the betrayal made by Parliament to the Leave voters of the country if the UK was not out of the EU by the end of October. He said he hoped Boris Johnson would make a success of being Prime Minister but questioned whether his reluctance for public debate was a sign of cowardice. During his LBC show, Mr Farage spoke to Mail on Sunday columnist Dan Hodges, who reflected on Mr Johnson’s leadership race tactics.
Mr Farage said: “Of course, if we don’t leave on the 31st of October people like me will be crying betrayal narrative again.
“It makes it very easy in many ways.”
