The Love Island 2019 recoupling last night (Sunday, June 17) on ITV 2 saw some couples grow stronger while other cast members formed new relationships. Tommy Fury surprised some Love Island viewers when he chose Molly-Mae Hague, ending his love triangle with Maura Higgins. Maura and Anna Vakili were initially left single at the end of the recoupling, only for it to be announced that they were able to be coupled with new arrivals Jordan Hames and Tom Walker.
Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague
Tommy Fury had to choose between Molly-Mae and Maura, both of whom had been flirting with him for the past few days.
After what seemed like a very, very, long pause, however, he eventually chose Molly-Mae, who coupled with him in the previous recoupling.
Joe Garrett and Lucie Donlan
Apart from a few days when Lucie was coupled with Tommy, Joe and Lucie have been a couple for most of Love Island.
They went exclusive earlier in the week (much to Amy Hart’s annoyance), so it was no surprise when they decided to stay in a couple.
