Despite the Tesla CEO's bizarre tweet his account remains active, with its last tweet reading: “Just deleted my Twitter account.” Sunday, June 16 was Father’s Day in the United States and the SpaceX chief has a history of being playful with his Twitter account, one of corporate America’s most-watched. Mr Musk may have tweeted that he deleted his account after the negative response he received after posting fan art by Meli Magali.
The incident began when Elon Musk tweeted the fanart of a video game character on Saturday without crediting the artist.
The Tesla CEO promptly got into a Twitter feud about his right to use other people’s work without giving them credit.
Twitter users pointed out that it feels bad when someone avoids giving you credit for your work.
