Sky News’s Beth Rigby was quick to snap at Jeremy Hunt-supporting Penny Mordant for only gaining three more Tory MPs supports between the first and second voting round. Although coming in second to Tory leadership favourite Boris Johnson, Mr Hunt had not seen the surge in popularity as dark horse and fourth place Rory Stewart who almost doubled his support. Mrs Mordaunt told Sky News: “Jeremy Hunt is in second place and he is currently heading towards the final and we have got to get him here.”
